James and Randi planned to have their wedding on Ft Myers Beach at Pointe Estero Resort, Mother Nature on the other hand was not going to allow that to happen. We tried to weather the storm but could not wait any longer, the couple opted to have their ceremony in front the the resort with the lagoon and waterfall as their backdrops. Once the wedding was over to everyone’s surprise the skies cleared up so we took off to the beach.

On April 9, 2011 we headed to Fort Myers Beach to photograph (now) Nick & Heather Overstreet’s Beach Wedding. The Ceremony started at 7pm just as the sun was beginning to set. The two were glowing with excitement which always makes for a great wedding shoot. The sunset was all that anyone could ask for, it was one of the largest that we have seen this season. In fact it was so beautiful that at one point I set the camera down and walked away to let then newly weds enjoy their first sunset together, alone. Congrats to Nick and Heather we hope you stay as happy and proud as you were on your wedding day.

January 30, 2011 was the day that Kevin and Lauran Thompson tied the knot. It was a perfect bright blue Fort Myers Beach Day. Much like every Florida day in January, the air was crisp from the winds blowing in from the Gulf of Mexico and the birds were out in full force. Lauran was hoping to get some birds in a few shots and did we ever, it was as if the birds knew that she wanted them. Some would fly by real slow, others would scurry across the background and we even had a few dive bombs right behind the couple. It was all-in-all a great Beach Wedding, congrats to you both.

New Years Day 2011. What a fun beach wedding this was, we met up with Bryan & Sarah at the Outrigger on Fort Myers Beach. The setting was a deep blue sky with a few clouds blown across the horizon. Once the ceremony started the sky filled with golden beams from the setting sun, which made for wonderful wedding photos.

We had the joy of capturing Ryan & Chelsea Johnson’s horse farm wedding. The two tied the knot at Lang Farm in Dade City, Florida. It was a perfect setting for an Old Florida Wedding. The ceremony was held in an oak tree hammock, with the bride and groom standing under a huge oak tree with a few horses roaming around in the background. After the big show we made our way around the farm shooting every possible square inch we could… Hope you enjoy.
